We spend so much energy trying to figure out what to say, where to show up, how to be consistent. And all of that matters. But none of it works the way it’s meant to until one thing is in place first.
That one thing is Inner Presence.
Most women entrepreneurs go straight to Market Presence, the content, the reach, the strategy, the tactics. Or they try to shape their inner world to fit the marketing box they’ve been handed. Either way, they’re skipping the one layer that makes everything else sustainable.
And this is exactly where the exhaustion starts.
Think about a building. The exterior, the signage, the landscaping, the polished storefront, that’s your Market Presence. The interior, how clients feel when they walk in, the experience you’ve created, that’s your Client Presence. And Inner Presence? That’s the foundation the whole building is sitting on.
When the foundation is weak, you spend all your time making repairs. Something cracks on the outside, you fix it. The inside stops feeling welcoming, you repaint and rearrange. You rebrand. You update your templates. You tell yourself better hooks will fix it.
But eventually the exhaustion catches up. You stop making the repairs. And everything you built starts to crumble.
None of that is a content problem. None of it is a strategy problem. It’s a foundation problem. And Inner Presence is the practice of building that foundation, and returning to it, so that everything you create on top of it actually holds.
When you lead with Inner Presence, the focus comes back to you, and the external visibility starts to follow naturally. Things feel lighter. There’s less pressure to perform. What you’re doing starts to feel more natural. And when things feel natural, consistency stops being a struggle and becomes an expression of who you are.
Inside REM, Inner Presence isn’t squeezed in around everything else, it’s the foundation of everything we do. Every month, we use numerology to map the energetic landscape ahead and each member creates a personal four-word mantra: an Anchor, a Channel, a Need, and an Outcome. That mantra becomes the grounding statement their entire visibility experience for the month is built on.
Two women can be working with the same month and walk away with completely different mantras, because they’re in completely different seasons of their journey. That’s not a coincidence. That’s the work.
I go through this practice alongside my members every month. This month, sitting honestly with my own words cracked something open, and the Inner Presence work gave me an answer I wasn’t expecting. I’m sharing the full story in this week’s episode of Visibility Unlocked.
When you can see yourself clearly, really clearly, that’s when everything on the outside starts to shift. Visibility isn’t a marketing problem. It starts here. With you. With the foundation.
What are you building your visibility on?
