It’s an honor when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph them for a personal brand photography session. In fact, it’s one of the biggest compliments I could receive. It’s also very intimidating.
Tampa Bay Wedding Photographer, Jessica Fredericks, and I met in 2019 and quickly became friends. She has been a second shooter for me on weddings and also did one of my own personal brand sessions. Let’s just say, I loved everything she did for me.
So, when she asked to step in front of my camera for her own personal brand photography session, I said yes please!
We held her session at Sunken Gardens in St Petersburg and included her sweet family. It was important to Jessica to include her husband and young son as they play large role in her photography career. Her husband is her support foundation and being an entrepreneur helps create the work from anywhere environment that allows her to be present with her son.
Friends, it’s vital to consider the type of content you are going to create before heading into your personal brand photography session. Knowing what you’re going to post about dictates the type of images you’ll need to go with your content.
Okay, stepping off my soap box on the importance of content strategy so you can view Jessica’s session!
